Cats Needing Homes

This large 3 year old ruffty tuffty boy is a great big cuddly diamond in the rough hence his name. In a previous life he was known for his caterwauling singing voice that he used to woo the lady cats of the area from the shed roof.

Since his neutering operation he has calmed down remarkably and no longer howls and screeches. Just the odd meow when he thinks that his supper is overdue. His big powerful purr however is enough to make your heart vibrate.

Diamond loves people. All people. Younger people, older people, he just loves human company so would best suit a home where there is someone at home to cuddle him for at least part of the day. He would probably be ok living with a small, cat friendly dog if properly introduced, and older children.

He doesn't do sharing so would probably be best as the only cat.

Like most of the feline world, he would absolutely love a safe garden to prowl around away from busy roads. Have you room in your life for this retired lothario?

If you are able to offer Diamond a home then please give us a call on 01803 266 321. As a genuine and responsible animal charity, all of our domestic cats are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, deflead and have a further vet check prior to rehoming - all of which will have cost our charity well over £130 for each cat we care for. We ask if you would kindly consider making a donation of £50 to our charity when you adopt a cat or kitten from us. Thank you!

Poor Harry and Mouse had a sad start in life. This 3 year old brother and sister pair were taken in as kittens by an elderly lady who sadly went into hospital not long after. Although her friends went to the house to put down food and water every day, Harry and Mouse were left to their own devices shut in her bungalow. Their poor owner was unable to come home from hospital and we were eventually contacted and asked to take them in. They are described by their foster family as nervous but inquisitive. They love being gently stroked and admired but due to their isolation when young they need to get to know and trust you first. Harry's nosey nature gets the better of him very quickly and he can't help but come out and meet you. Mouse is a bit more reserved and will wait for you to sit quietly first before coming for a peek. As Mouse draws a lot of her confidence from her brother, they must go together. They have always lived as indoor cats so would probably suit an indoor only home that is quiet and welcoming with gentle patient new owners. They have never lived with children or dogs.

Hugh is a very handsome 4 year old smokey grey tom. He is a very affectionate boy who loves a bit of fuss. His tail is always up ready for a gentle stroke or better still a chin rub! Every morning he is sat waiting on the shelf in his foster pen, from where he can see his fosterer's kitchen window. There he can fix them with his remarkable green eyes to let them know that his breakfast must come before their first coffee!

He loves affectionate people and would probably suit an older family. We are pretty sure he would be prepared to share his new home with a small, placid, cat friendly dog, if properly introduced. Of course he would love access to a safe garden away from busy roads.

Lottie and Dottie are two adorable and inseparable 5 month old sisters. Originally found living in a compost heap at the bottom of an overgrown garden, they are described by their foster family as the life and soul of the party! They have lived with two gentle, cat friendly dogs and older children. Their new home will need, in no particular order, ping pong balls, cuddles, feathers, tummy tickles, sunny windowsills and hopefully a safe, cat friendly garden away from busy roads. If you are able to offer Lottie and Dottie a home together then please give us a call on 01803 266 321. Martha and Diana are looking for their forever home together. These two fluffy sisters are a couple of proper little puddings! They could do with a lovely new home and, hopefully, a quiet, cat-safe garden to exercise in, away from busy roads. They can be a little shy at first but after gentle introductions they are dear, affectionate ladies. Martha and Diana are 2 years old and have previously lived with a large, gentle, cat friendly dog and a quiet, older child, whose bed they were often found sharing at night!
